Just logging the latest read for the record…
I am not feeling particularly verbose today so will just say that Kochland is great read. If you liked Bad Blood (I did), you’ll probably enjoy this one too. It’s quite long though – at about 600 pages before you hit the appendix and footnotes.
About the only fault I could find with the book is there is lots of talk about Charles Koch’s Market Based Management (MBM) but I don’t recall the author ever laying out what the actual tenets or principles are (not that you can’t find them on the web).
Give this one a try, even if, like me, you can’t stand politics. Certainly it plays a (large) part in the story, but it’s really more of a business book.
